Every year, hundreds of people dedicate lights on the Christmas Tree at Dorothy House in Winsley in memory of a loved one as part of the annual Light up a Life appeal. Many people also chose to visit the tree.
This year, the tree looked absolutely stunning (see picture, left) until high winds and other extreme weather conditions caused significant damage to it. The lights still shine brightly, and we have done a lot of work to repair the damage so that the tree and the lights look as good as they possibly can for all visitors.
The tree is best viewed in the dark, and can be accessed on foot via the lower car park at Dorothy House.
