Wooden Reindeer bring joy and funds

What would you do with the logs that are left over from your trees being lopped?

Well, if you were creative like David Ecob, you’d make reindeer to sell in aid of Dorothy House of course! David decided to make a 'couple' of cute reindeer and put them on his drive for sale, and in just a few hours they had all been bought … so he decided to make more, and they all sold as well. He has been inundated with requests and has literally run out of wood … and time!

Through selling his reindeer, David has raised over £300 (with more money still to come in from pending sales) and has said he plans to make them for Christmas 2012 – but start earlier!

We would like to say a big  'thank you' to David  for all his hard work as well as the joy and smiles he has brought to the Hospice by donating a reindeer for our reception area – which has been raffled to raise further funds.
